KFOR condemns the attack on the Kosovo police: Ready to respond if required

KFOR reacted after the tensions in the north, where one Kosovo police officer was killed and another was injured.

In their reaction, they stated that they are in conversation with the European Union, the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo and the commander of the Serbian army to find a solution to the situation created in the North of the Republic of Kosovo as soon as possible.

KFOR'S FULL REACTION:

The Kosovo Police, as a first responder, has the primary responsibility for incident management on the ground. The KFOR Commander is in close and continuous contact with all international stakeholders, including the EU, the Chief of Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces and the institutions in Kosovo, and is working intensively to find a solution .

Through a press release, KFOR has said that they are present in this area and ready to respond to the situation, if required.
