Kosovo-Albania-Croatia military agreement, Osmani: The time when Serbia is

Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has called Serbia's statement on the memorandum between Kosovo, Albania and Croatia on a military alliance "ridiculous".

The head of state said that the trilateral agreement between Kosovo, Albania and Croatia aims precisely to help each other to increase their defense capacities, that is, to defend themselves and never attack anyone, and at the same time, cooperation between allied states that have proven to be loyal to the values of freedom, democracy and good neighborliness.

"It is interesting that historically aggressor states like Serbia and Russia constantly try to portray themselves as victims.

If you look at their ridiculous statements, despite the fact that they have a history of invasions, attacks, genocide, wars that they themselves have caused, aggressor states like Serbia and Russia appear as if they are attacking them.

We have never attacked anyone, we have never attempted to occupy even an inch of someone else's territory.

But in the history of our nation, Albanians and Kosovo have always defended themselves and we will continue to defend our sovereignty, territorial integrity, and statehood.

"The trilateral agreement aims to help each other increase our defense capacities, that is, to defend ourselves and not attack anyone," she said in a statement to the media.

"The times when Serbia was questioned about anything are over once and for all."

"We are a sovereign, independent state, we make our own decisions in accordance with our interests and with the goal of peace and stability in the region, a goal that is only endangered by Serbia, no one else," said Osmani.

Croatia, Albania and Kosovo signed the Declaration on Strengthening Defense Cooperation on Tuesday.

The declaration on strengthening defense cooperation, signed by the three countries, has attracted great attention and heated reactions in Serbia.

Serbian Defense Minister Bratislav Gasic called the initiative "provocative," while authorities in Belgrade announced that Serbia was ready to consider cooperation in good faith with Croatia and Albania.

Yesterday, Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic responded to Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, who said that Albania and Croatia have opened "an arms race" by signing a memorandum of defense cooperation with Kosovo.

Plenkovic said that Croatia does not need to ask either Serbia or NATO about this tripartite agreement, reports the online newspaper Reporteri.net.

"We were able to create a document that helps their reform efforts. It is not of a hostile nature."

"I understand that one should look for an enemy further, but this is not of a hostile nature. Croatia does not need to ask anyone about this, neither Serbia nor NATO," Plenkovic said.
