AAK Chairman Ramush Haradinaj has reacted to the passing of the father of the former president and former Prime Minister of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi.

In a post on the social network Facebook, Haradinaj writes 'Baca Haxhi ended his life, leaving behind a whole history of challenges and sacrifices, but his departure comes at an even more difficult moment for the Thaçi family.'

The President of AAK expresses his condolences to his friend, Hashim Thaçi.

" Bitter news of the passing of Haxhi Thaçi, father of the early fighter, my comrade-in-arms and former President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi."

Baca Haxhi ended his life leaving behind a whole history of challenges and sacrifices, but his departure comes at an even more difficult moment for the Thaçi family. On this day of mourning, the Thaçi family is facing not only the loss of their loved one, but also the absence of Hashim, who, with other comrades, is defending the holy war of the KLA in The Hague.

In this moment of pain, I stand with my friend and comrade-in-arms Hashim and the entire Thaçi family.
