Police inside the monastery, arrest some of the attackers in Zveçan

The police have entered the Serbian Orthodox monastery, where the armed attackers are.

The operation continues, while it is learned that among the attackers, there are arrested persons. Weapons and ammunition were found in the object.

Today, around 03:00 in the morning, the Kosovo police patrol was attacked in the village of Banjska in Leposavič. Armed persons have blocked the way of the police car with two trucks on the Mitrovica-Leposavič axis. Then, they shot in the direction of the police car, as a result of which officer Afrim Bunjaku lost his life and two others were injured.

After the attack, the 30 gunmen were locked up in the monastery located in the village of Banjské in Zveçan
