NATO Secretary General in Kosovo next week! Here's who Mark Rutte will be accompanied by

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, his deputy, Radmila Shekerinska, along with ambassadors from the North Atlantic Council will visit Kosovo on March 11.
During this visit, Rutte will meet with Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and President Vjosa Osmani. He will also hold a joint press conference with the latter.
Radio Free Europe reported earlier this week on Rutte's now-confirmed visit, which is also expected to be in Bosnia and Herzegovina a day earlier. The NATO chief will also meet with the leaders of the Western military alliance's peacekeeping mission in Kosovo, KFOR, as well as those of the European Union Rule of Law Mission (EULEX) and representatives of the United Nations Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK).
This will be Rutte's first visit to Kosovo since he took over as NATO chief in October last year.
This visit will also take place a few days after he stated that stability in Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Serbia is in the interest of everyone in the Western military alliance and that he sees no reason to believe that there could be any dramatic change in terms of American commitment to NATO.
He made this statement in Bratislava, Slovakia, when asked in a debate by students whether he sees a possibility of a resumption of the conflict in Kosovo, as there are rumors that the new American policy, under the leadership of President Donald Trump, could lead to a military withdrawal.
But, a few days later, the US Department of Defense told Radio Free Europe that for now there is no change in the positioning of their troops in Kosovo.
NATO has had a peacekeeping mission in Kosovo since the end of the war. Currently, there are over 4,600 troops from 29 countries deployed in Kosovo as part of KFOR. The largest number of them is from Italy, followed by the United States, Hungary and Turkey.
NATO increased its presence in Kosovo during 2023, following rising tensions in the Serb-majority north.
KFOR is the third security responder in Kosovo, after the Kosovo Police and the European Union rule of law mission, EULEX. This mission is responsible, among other things, for the security of the border line between Kosovo and Serbia.
