Train full of migrants arrives at Mexico-US border after several days of travel and stops

More than a thousand migrants from Latin America arrived today at the Mexico-US border in the city of Ciudad Juarez, traveling for several days on the roof and wagons of a freight train.
Although the Mexican authorities had temporarily stopped the trains to the north, the vehicle has resumed the journey bringing them to their destination.
Following the absurd border situation, the immigrants will now try to cross the Rio Bravo river to then surrender to the American border authorities, writes the AFP network.
"We are happy because we are getting closer to our goal," says a Venezuelan immigrant as the river can now be seen with the naked eye.
Illegal immigrants, most of them from Venezuela, as soon as the train stopped started to get out of the cars and descend from the roofs, throwing their belongings in front.
Many deaths and injuries have been recorded in their circumstances, but this has not extinguished their motivation and hope to escape poverty or conflicts in their countries of origin.
"The immigration officials have tried to stop us several times, before we were stranded in the middle of the desert, but now we have more hope," says 20-year-old immigrant Daiverson.
The Venezuelan says he was a law student in his country, while adding that during the journey there were some of the most painful scenes.
"It was hard to see people getting hurt, and their fate was unknown in the country and the conditions they were in. We covered the last 300 km in more than 20 hours from train stops".
This trip has remained almost as the only option due to the lack of income or restrictions on them for buying tickets, writes AFP.
That was the reason Mexican rail company Ferromex halted most operations in September as the government moved to tighten controls on migrants.
