Head of the Teachers' Union: Strike and boycott of classes, academic bodies in support of students

The head of the Teachers' Union, Aleksandër Kovaçi, has announced the academic body's support for the student protest, calling for a boycott of classes and daily participation in rallies.

In a statement to the media, Kovaçi announced that the leadership of the University Union, after assessing the situation, has decided to support the student boycott.

He emphasized that union members and professors also stand in solidarity with this stance, and will support the students' demands.

In conclusion, the head of the union called on the teachers to gather every day at 10:00 AM to express solidarity with the students and to continue the boycott of the teaching process.

The reaction of the Teachers' Union comes at a time when student protests continue, while support for the demands of young people is also expanding in the ranks of the academic staff.
"The leadership of the University Union, seeing the situation, declares support for the boycott, and all members of the Union and the academic staff are in support of the students.
