The show "Fiks Fare" brings a case of bribery by the white shirts in the city of Fier.

Doctor Musa Skënderaj is accused by two parents of having taken 40 thousand lek for their son's surgery, while today the minor risks losing a testicle and must undergo surgery again. "In addition to the fact that he will be operated on again, we have to pay again," the mother tells Fiks Fare.

The boy's mother said that after the surgery, the doctor Skënderaj asked for and received a bribe of 40 thousand lekë. It all happened two months ago at the Fier Regional Hospital where their son underwent a surgery that was not successful. Currently, the boy needs to be re-operated for testicular torsion and the mother claims that they need more lekë to pay the doctor.

The family didn't stop with just a verbal complaint. The boy's father met with the doctor himself and recorded him with a hidden camera. During the conversation, the doctor denied asking for money before the operation, but did not rule out taking it after it - a detail that suggests that the payment was made, regardless of the method and time.

During the meeting, the father also gave the doctor the sum of 20 thousand lek for the second operation, which the doctor accepted without any hesitation. After pocketing the money, the doctor even explained to the patient's father that he did his best in the operating room, but could not save the testicle.

Fiksi journalists interviewed doctor Musa Skënderaj, who said that there was no specialist doctor in the hospital that day for that intervention, but he performed it himself. Meanwhile, he denied having received the money for the operation, but said that he had received it for the online service he provided to the family. So 60 thousand lek in total for phone calls with the patient's parents.
