The Director of Communication and Media in Sali Berisha's cabinet, Alfred Lela, has written an article to "advise" Ervin Salianji, following the latter's move.
Lela reminds him that Berisha has 500 thousand votes and cannot challenge Salianji.
Then he says that Lulzim Basha also tried to do something like that, but failed.

A media camp has been deployed over the meetings and agenda of former MP Salianji, with the constant readiness to drive wedges and widen cracks in the trunk, already full of lightning marks, of the Democratic Party.
Some do it for the sensationalism of the news. Most with a predetermined editorial line which, if not sponsored, is inspired from top to bottom, by the interests of the government and its segments. The spirit of anti-oppositionism in Albania is an old legacy, but never, thanks to the increase in financial powers, technologies, and interests, has it been like this.
What interests us here is not the media per se, but the media as an extension of power. This extension, whether Salianji likes it or not, affects him as well. He himself becomes an instrument of a government agenda that diminishes his movement and his goals, however noble and reformist they may be.
For a simple reason.
The main thesis of the government's attack on the opposition is related to its leader, Sali Berisha. Summarized in the unpropositional but anathema slogan, "it's Sali's fault". From an opposition electoral slogan, the socialists turned it into a modus operandi even during the government. In the end, when the dams broke and the waters revealed the gloomy and corrupt structures of the years of government, the slogan was kept, but the angle was changed. According to which 'it's Sali's fault (again), because if it weren't for him, the Democratic Party would have won. Rama, let's say between ourselves, is governing badly, but there is no opposition in front. Which Saliu is preventing, and as soon as he leaves, the next day, damn it! Albania will abandon the pink and will be covered in blue.
Despite what we know, that the government has invested in all forms to attack Berisha, the Democratic Party and pluralism, from Washington to Brussels, the thesis with which the public was attacked was that the opposition was weak, not because of the government's paid, illegal blows below the belt, but because of Berisha.
The enemies and opponents of the DP, but also of pluralism, were seen and are seen in studio after studio 'advising' the opposition, that is, the opponent they should defeat, on how to fix it. The only sensible opposition, for the ruling media and its extension, was the one who understood this great flaw that needed to be fixed, namely Berisha.

Ilustrues i kësaj është Rusia, ku ka opozitë, por të kontrolluar. Në rastin kur një politikan i saj del jashtë kontrollit, i ndodh si Navalnit.
Për këtë arsye, slogani që kërkonte mposhtjen elektorale të shefit të PD, u kthye ngadalë në metodologji për eleminimin politik të tij. Jo vetëm kaq, por nëpërmjt mjeteve të komunikmit masiv, tundimit ndërkombëtar të një agjende të majtë të cancel culture, lobimeve dhe shtysave financiare, ky eleminim duhej të ishte jo vetëm politik, por edhe juridik.
Në Romën antike, perandorët, pasi i dëbonin kundërshtarët e tyre, zakonisht senatorë apo shkrimtarë, urdhëronin që të shuhej edhe rekordi i tyre publik dhe të mos flitej më për ta; dënoheshin me atë që quhej damnatio memoriae, pra me shuarje apo moskujtesë.
Lima ku po i mpreh thonjtë e aksionit politik Ervin Salianji është kjo. Duke ligjëruar publikisht për një Parti Demokratike që nuk po ndryshon, edhe pse është në ‘qeverinë’ e kësaj force, ai përsërit të njëjtën tezë të kundërshtarit: fajin e ka Saliu.
Nëse është kështu, pra faji është me Berishën, cila është zgjidhja dhe nga prej nga ku(sh) vjen ajo? A është Salianji i përgatitur, i pranuar dhe i mbështetur nga 550 mijë votuesit e Sali Berishës dhe Partisë Demokratike, në mënyrë që, mbi këtë numër ta vendosë edhe platformën e ndryshimit?
Nëse përgjigja, qoftë edhe pjesërisht është jo, ai nuk është duke bërë gjë tjetër veçse duke përdour gjuhën, limën dhe metodologjinë e kundërshtarit politik të Partisë Demokratike. Praktikisht, duhet pasur e qartë se, vetëm me mbështetësit e Berishës mund të ndërtohet një aksion politik i denjë. Kjo masë kritike është e domosdoshme për t’i shtuar edhe 200 mijë vota të tjera, të munguara në hambarin elektoral dhe që mund të sigurojnë një rikthim të së djathtës.
Pyetja është legjitime: nëse Salianji nuk e gëzon mbështetjen e totalit, apo pjesës më të madhe të 550 mijë mbështetësve të Berishës/PD, a ka, apo a gjeneron dot ai një ushtri elektorale prej 200 mijë vetësh, që mund ta bëjnë aksionerin e dytë të madh të opozitarizmit?
Nëse mediat e qeverisë do të bënin një sondazh, gjasat janë që po. Përvoja, me personazhe deri diku të spikatura, deri diku delirante, e deri diku me mundësi, që u futën në zgjedhjet e fundit parlamentare, në krye partish të vogla, na dëshmon të kundërtën.
Po aq, siç Salianji e di mirë, përpjekjet e satelitëve të Bashës, dhe vetë këtij të fundit, për të ndërtuar aksion politik të qenësishëm, dolën me faqe të zezë.
Çfarë, atëherë, e bën Salianjin të mendojë apo shpresojë se, pavarësisht Berishës, përtej tij dhe flukseve që ai menaxhon në opozitë, ka jetë të re politike që e forcon këtë parti dhe e sjell në pushtet?
If this calculation has not been made, with seriousness, sincerity and political mind, the camp of the discontented who provisionally follow Salianji, are nothing more than a return to the irony of history, of the numerous bands that roamed up and down Albania in 1913. Which, with such mastery, Ismail Kadare described in the novel "The Bad Year".
A serious politician should not act to be a character. The world belongs to the brave, of course, but not infrequently, at the end of courage there is nothing left but a mouthful of laughter.
