The head of the Democratic Party was today in the Selman Menës family, in Laprakë, a family which has 10 members shot by the communist regime.

The political persecuted of the communist dictatorship are those of the Democratic Party. Their attitude and sacrifices in the darkest days of our history prevail over the oblivion which the wrong policies have left this layer of our society from time to time. Our unlimited goodwill towards every persecuted person, family and every descendant, will be conveyed in our political action through concrete acts that close the big gap between words and deeds, which for a long time have prevailed against the persecuted. It is the responsibility of the Democratic Party to represent the persecuted, with our program and team, being their instrument to advance the legacy of those who sacrificed everything for the democratization and development of European Albania," Basha posted on Facebook .
