The political leader of the Euro-Atlantic Coalition, Lulzim Basha, has congratulated His Eminence Joan Pelushi on his election as Archbishop of Tirana, Durrës and all Albania by the Holy Synod of the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Albania.
Basha appreciates the dedication and long service of Archbishop Joan, describing his election as a testament to the noble journey he has made in the spiritual reconstruction of the Church and its leadership with wisdom and dedication.
"May God grant him blessings and strength in this holy mission to enlighten the souls of believers and to lead the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Albania towards a bright future!" - writes Basha.
