The EU asked for new elections in the north of Kosovo, Prime Minister Rama reacts
Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted after the call of the EU, which asked Kosovo to announce new elections in the four municipalities of the north, which are inhabited by a majority of Serbs. The head of government said that this call could not be clearer than that.
With a note on "Twitter", Rama writes that the presence of the Kosovo police in defense of empty buildings is an absurd move, and the deployment of the Serbian army on the border is a non-European action.
"The EU could not be more clear! Continuing this absurd misplan by deploying police to protect empty buildings that elected officials cannot enter, and in turn deploying army troops to sing at another country's border could not be more self-inflicted and less European" - writes Rama.
