Berisha attacks Rama's healthcare system, nostalgic for Enver Hoxha's: Those who ran it were honorable, we did experiments with rabbits!

In a statement, DP leader Sali Berisha harshly attacked the healthcare system under Edi Rama's government, comparing it to the 1960s and calling it degraded as never before.

At the same time, he positively assessed the health leaders during the dictatorship, emphasizing that they were honorable and educated professionals, unlike the "ignorant and unscrupulous" of today.

Berisha even recalled with nostalgia the times when, as a student, he conducted experiments on rabbits as part of scientific research, which, according to him, have found a place in international congresses.

"If we take healthcare, in my memory, healthcare today has a degradation in Albania that in many aspects is close to the 1960s. Everything reminds me of the 1960s, when the first pediatricians began to appear in the districts because there were no pediatricians."

The Ministry of Health has never had ignorant and unscrupulous leaders like it did during the years of Edi Rama.
Even during the dictatorship, those who led the health system were honorable people.
My former dean became a minister and the truth is that he used the opportunities he had to organize it. You could say anything to him, but he was not ignorant, he was a man educated abroad. His predecessor was like that, his successor was like that.

You have posed a very fair problem, scientific research. There is a frightening involution. I, who am speaking to you here, in the fourth and fifth year of the faculty, absolutely for two consecutive years, with the late professor Bajram Preza, have conducted experiments on hundreds of rabbits testing the effects of substances used in agriculture. I presented these studies at the international congress in Milan in 1977 ," Berisha said.
