The CDU supports SPAK and condemns any attempt to obstruct justice, such as the amnesty.
The presence of Hans-Joachim Falenski, advisor to the CDU's spokesman in the Bundestag on European affairs, Gunther Krichbaum, in the Euro-Atlantic Coalition campaign, has brought a strong message of support from the largest center-right party in Europe.

In his speech, Falenski emphasized the CDU's support for SPAK and condemned efforts to obstruct justice, including the amnesty initiative.
He stated that the country needs a modern politics that puts the citizen at the center, and he finds this vision in the Euro-Atlantic Coalition: "I find these forces here, you, the warriors of the Euro-Atlantic Coalition. Fighters for democracy and the rule of law with the means of law and democracy."
Excerpt from Falenski's speech:
And this awakening says: Enough with corruption! Enough with personal enrichment! Enough with nepotism! Enough with economic chaos!
What Albania needs today more than ever are modern political forces, that think and act in a modern way.
And I find these forces here in this hall – you, the fighters of the Euro-Atlantic Coalition. Fighters for democracy and the rule of law with the means of law and democracy.
Albania is not where it could have been already on its path to the EU, because the Albanian government does not have the political will or the ability to solve the assigned tasks.
Albania is not where it could have been already, because the forces that want and can move the country forward towards the EU have been hindered!
To put it clearly: we, the CDU/CSU-led government, want Albania to be in the EU as soon as possible!
The fight against corruption: Yes, there has been progress in this area. But this has only been achieved through the good work of the Special Anti-Corruption Structure SPAK – despite opposition from the government and parliament! For example, through the amnesty law there has been a significant reversal, freeing 40 people convicted of corruption and reducing the sentences of 65 others. And the efforts by the government and parliament to hinder the successful work of SPAK are increasing. We will not allow this! This will meet with our strongest opposition!
