New footage has been made public of the brawl recorded the day before in the Ostren administrative unit of Bulqiza during a DP electoral meeting.
After a verbal conflict, the person who, as it appears from the footage, was talking on the phone, was hit and then other DP sympathizers, as well as MP Xhelal Mziu himself, were also involved.
In connection with this altercation, the Police announced today that they had initiated criminal proceedings against the political leader of the Democratic Party in Dibër, Xhelal Mziu, and his nephew, Elvis Mziu, for the criminal offense of "Threat or violence against election participants."
According to authorities, they are accused of punching 33-year-old Kalosh Murra from Shupenza, who is an employee of the Bulqiza Municipality in the social assistance distribution sector.
Democratic MP Xhelal Mziu himself reacted after this video was published on social networks and various portals, stating that he is not the one who is hitting and that there is talk of a completely different episode, where the protagonist of the violence is the father of the SP candidate from Dibër.
