DP MPs "steal" the protesters' song and sing it in the Assembly, Ulsiu acts as the 'conductor': 1, 2, 3, Muli, raise your voice!

There was no shortage of comic scenes in today's Parliament session, when DP deputies began chanting the protesters' chants, while SP deputy Ulsi Manja stopped speaking and turned into a conductor.

The session also took on an ironic tone when the Speaker of the Parliament, Niko Peleshi, said he was willing to give the opposition 30 minutes to sing the entire repertoire of the protesters.

Manja: I have heard since 10:00 my colleagues, the MPs of the other opposition who are claiming here in the hall and I don't know why they are shouting. You have all said one thing, you are asking this side to 'lower your head; apologize; go away', are you the opposition or the protest? If you are the opposition, you are the opposition, the protest is in the square and from what I have seen, the protest says far away from the parties. You get out, stay on the sidelines with the idea that you will be let in. This side here has no reason to lower its head. The Socialist Party and we with our colleagues have done so much good work.

A chorus of calls from the opposition: Rama must resign

Manja: When those songs are over, I will continue my minutes. This civic protest is certainly very beautiful, but it is normal in a democracy to protest. This protest has a beautiful innovation, the resignation of the opposition leader is demanded. Have you seen a civic protest in the world that says: the opposition leader should resign? Go there tonight and see if they will accept you or not, don't stand on the sidelines. Do you want salaries and pensions? We need investments. You are the ones who don't want investments in the country. I also had a dream in the '90s, 'Albania like all of Europe', which Berisha promised me.

Muli stand up. Very good. 1, 2, 3, 4, raise your voice, continue. 3, 2, 1 is the chorus.
