The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, during a meeting with residents of branch no. 2 in Tirana, promised that with the coming to power of the DP, there will be an amnesty for fines against citizens.
During his speech, Berisha said that every fine imposed for electricity, water, construction in villages and cities, as well as interest, will be forgiven. He stated that interest on citizens is being charged illegally, as according to him there is no law, since they have been forgiven once.
"They take interest illegally, there is no law, because they were forgiven once. The director of OSHEE, the former director, hires and employs hundreds of patronage agents and then rushes about how to collect fines, interest and fake invoices from citizens ," he said.
Berisha: These people build mansions and don't pay fines, while anyone who raises their roof in the village is arrested and thrown in prison. What I'm saying is real.
