Albanian journalist stirs up Serbian politics, media: Musliu, father of Vucic.
The name of the Albanian journalist from Kosovo, Fahri Musliu, has stirred political life in Serbia, after allusions in the Serbian media that he is the biological father of Aleksandër Vucic. This situation has forced the head of the Serbian state to appear publicly at the side of his father. Vucic denied that Fahri Musliu is his father and in his dramatic and victimizing style said that these are attacks that want to destroy every family in Serbia.

The name of the Albanian journalist from Kosovo, Fahri Musliu, has stirred political life in Serbia. As the country is preparing to enter the early elections on December 17, the Serbian media have published a series of articles through which they allude that the biological father of the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, is the well-known journalist from Kosovo, Fahri Musliu.

In fact, the return of these rumors was made by Vucic himself in one of the last television appearances, where he said that "Fahri Musliu is not my father, my father is Angelko". After this appearance of the Serbian President, the newspaper "Danas" published the article "An Albanian in Belgrade": Who is Fahri Musliu, whom Vucic says is not his father?"

This situation has forced President Vucic to make another public appearance, this time on social networks, where he introduced his father.

In his well-known dramatic and victimizing style, Vucic considered the attacks on him as attacks on every Serbian family and accused the Serbian opposition of being behind the attacks. Vucic denied that Fahri Musliu is his father.

" Those politicians who tried to attack the Vucic family through their media didn't just attack my mother, my father, me...

They attacked every family in Serbia, they want the destruction of our families, they want the destruction of our country. They wrote that I denied that a certain Fahri Musliu is my father, wanting to say that he really is. I tell you once again, my father is Angelko, I love him infinitely.

We will save the country from you, we will save all the families in Serbia, we will save Serbia from you irresponsible people, from you persecutors, from you who will destroy everything this country has done" .

The journalists of "Danas" have also contacted the Albanian journalist Fahri Musliu, who said that he does not want to comment on Vucic's statements, but on the other hand, he added that "let the Serbs and Albanians have fun with nonsense, as it is in their blood to deal with slander and the lives of others".

A few years ago, Fahri Musliu denied the news reported by a Croatian portal that he is the father of Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandër Vucic. Musliu emphasized that he knew Vucic's mother, as they were fellow journalists, but denied having a relationship with her.

Meanwhile, the state institutions in Serbia have also become part of this debate.

The Serbian Ministry of Information said on Friday that the daily "Danas" has cast doubt on the credibility of the President and his family with its story about the Kosovo Albanian journalist Fahri Musliu and the, in its opinion, false claims that he was the father of Aleksandar Vucic .
