Today, a reaction from Donald Trump's special envoy, Richard Grenell, was in the spotlight. The latter addressed journalist Alfred Lela by name, stating that the news published in his online media was untrue regarding the fact that Rama wanted to meet Donald Trump Jr. in Belgrade, but was unable to do so.
This Monday, Lela was invited to the show "Opinion" on Tv Klan, where he explained what happened. He emphasized that it is a misunderstanding and that the news was taken from another media outlet, citing the latter. Because he could not verify the news, Lela said that he had removed the news, explaining the reasons.
"I believe it's a misunderstanding. The story is simple. The girls who work with me at Politiko received a news story from Hashtag, posted it ethically, citing the source. I didn't understand why Mr. Grenell chose to address me. That was all. Since he mentioned me by name, I was invited, I saw the news, and I removed the news because Politiko didn't have the opportunity to verify the news.
