Prime Minister Edi Rama has responded to comments from his followers on the social network Facebook.

One of the comments addressed to the prime minister was: "Enough of you having been in power for 12 years and making promises like an owl."

Rama responded by saying that he does not make promises like the opposition, but that he does what he says and says what he does.

The Prime Minister emphasizes that there is no similarity with the leader of the DP, Sali Berisha, as he compares Albania with the period when the DP was in power and with the period when the SP came to power.

"No, Vladimir, I haven't been promising for 12 years, I have been doing what I say and saying what I do for 11 years and 6 months. Because if I were like an owl, Albania would be like an owl, a country that no one took seriously, a country mired in debt and crime, with over 100 murders a year, with cities ruined by oblivion, with tourism that was kept alive only by the patriotism of Albanians in Kosovo and Macedonia. What about today? Today, only those who don't want to see, don't see, and there is no one more blind than the one who has eyes, but refuses to see. Or more deaf than the one who has ears, but doesn't want to and doesn't want to be heard," said Rama.
