Asked to testify about "January 21", Ilir Meta is questioned today by SPAK

Former President of the country Ilir Meta is expected to appear at SPAK today at 10 am and give his testimony regarding the violent events of January 21, 2011, when 4 protesters who participated in the opposition demonstration of the time were shot dead in front of the prime minister's office.

Meta himself addressed SPAK with a request to call him to provide explanations regarding the incident, as due to the positions he has held, he claims to have data that could serve the investigation. As part of the investigation of the file, SPAK has received testimonies from former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, former President Bamir Topi, and other officials.

On January 21, 15 years ago, the protesters Ziver Veizi, Faik Myrtaj, Hekuran Deda and Aleks Nika were killed by the Garda.
