Marinela Ziu: Albanian business under pressure, Euro-Atlantic Coalition brings solution with 9% flat tax

During a day dedicated to intensive meetings with small, medium and large businesses, the Euro-Atlantic Coalition candidate for MP in Korça, Marinela Ziu, raised concerns about the extraordinary pressure that, according to her, is being exerted on businesses by the current government, especially during the election period.
Presenting the concrete measures of the coalition's economic program, Ziu called for a simple, fair and abuse-free tax system, emphasizing that business is an ally of development and deserves more support, not more burden.
Full post:
Today I dedicated the day to meetings with small, medium and large businesses. Everyone complains about the extraordinary pressure from this government, especially during the election period, and this is unacceptable.
On the other hand, it is a fact that around 70% of Albanian businesses complain that they have been asked for bribes.
For this reason, in the Euro-Atlantic Coalition Program, we propose the establishment of a single National Inspectorate, which does not impose fines but prevents, and which will focus on food safety, health safety, and technical safety.
Another element of concern for businesses is the tax system, which they say is complicated, with a large number of taxes, high fees, and frequent and abusive controls.
For this reason, in our Economic Program we propose:
The introduction of a 9% flat tax, which under socialist governance ranges from 13% to 23%, ensuring a simple, transparent and fair system for all taxpayers;
The introduction of a 9% income tax, which is currently 15%, reducing the fiscal burden on citizens and increasing the purchasing power of Albanian families;
The imposition of a 9% business tax, which is currently 15%, making Albania more attractive to foreign and domestic investments;
Eliminating all taxes for small businesses up to 14 million lekë, facilitating the opening and development of new businesses;
Reducing the obligations that small businesses pay to local governments to a value no higher than 1% of annual turnover, reducing the financial burden on them.
For us, business is an ally for the development of the country. For this reason, I invite you to join the change by voting for the Economic Program of the Euro-Atlantic Coalition, because...
You deserve more,
Korça deserves more.
