Marjana Koçeku leaves the SP group, behind-the-scenes details of the decision revealed

The Socialist Party MP in the Shkodra District, Marjana Koçeku, announced this afternoon that she will no longer be part of the socialist parliamentary group and will continue her mandate as an independent MP.
According to information from A2 CNN, her decision comes after a series of recent positions and developments within the SP parliamentary group, including the non-voting of the law on legal equality, where the MP left the hall during the vote.
It is also reported that Koçek has also received criticism in closed meetings of the socialist parliamentary group, including from Prime Minister Edi Rama, regarding issues such as the demolition of buildings in Theth.
In her public statements, Koçeku has previously spoken about environmental pollution, raising concerns about river pollution both in local meetings in Shkodër and in the Assembly, where on some occasions she has also supported the positions of opposition MPs, including Kliti Hoti.
She has also reacted in support of Rector Gjuraj and has held positions that have led to discussions within the ranks of the Socialist Party.
It is reported that at an event for the 35th anniversary of the Socialist Party in Shkodra, during a meeting at the castle, her statement to Prime Minister Rama about the "pink blouse with flamingos" was interpreted as irony by some participants. (A2 Television)
