DP Presidency Meeting/Berisha determines when the national protest will take place
The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, during the meeting of the DP Presidency, announced the organization of a national protest on December 22 in Tirana.
In his speech, Berisha emphasized that the opposition should focus all its forces on removing what he called the "power of crime," leaving aside any kind of political philosophy.
He also said that protests have already started in front of the Prime Minister's Office, but a national protest will be called on December 22nd.
"They ask us not to philosophize, but to focus all our forces on removing this criminal government from power, otherwise the next elections would have a minimum of 63 percent. Or as much as they want. That's why we have to start the protests. We have to trust the protest. We have to organize the protests, we have to start them as soon as possible."
We have started those who are at the prime minister's office. But on the 22nd, we must call a national protest. Those Albanians who come, they are blessed. Those who will not come, will come later. But we will never become an obstacle, on the contrary, we will incite protests until the last day to create a technical government in this country for free elections.
There is no other agenda and there cannot be a DP," Berisha said.
Berisha added: The DP interrupts any kind of negotiation, any kind of discussion about any kind of person with the violent party.
