On the "Now" show on Euronews Albania, the political leader of the Euro-Atlantic Coalition, Lulzim Basha, declared that an organized and unprecedented attack has been made against him and the coalition in the last 35 years. He said that millions of euros have been spent and 55 million messages have been distributed against him, up to the involvement of a senior FBI official who has already been arrested, for the simple reason that it is the only political force that is in defense of the pure interest of Albanians.

Basha emphasized that only the Euro-Atlantic Coalition protects the interests of Albanian citizens and is determined to fight corruption with deeds, not words. According to him, it is up to the citizens whether they will choose to support the program, the team, the open list. “You voted for the fourth, you voted to support SPAK, to fill 313 with all the friends and other corruption leaders of Edi Rama and him, and the money will be either in your pockets, your pensions, or in the pockets of 313.” – said Basha.

Our candidates, our supporters, our people, know very well that the dirtiest war in 35 years has been waged against us. Mud has been thrown. Tens of millions of euros have been invested. 55 million messages have been paid for personally against me. The head of the FBI's counterintelligence in New York has been recruited and corrupted, and today he is in prison, against me. It is an entire establishment against me. Why? And against the Euro-Atlantic Coalition. Why? For a simple reason, because we are the only ones who stand in defense of the pure interest of Albanians. These people collaborate for their own interests, they collaborate against the interests of Albanians. What is the number one interest of Albanians today and who supports it with deeds? It is the fight against corruption.

With deeds not with words, because with words, Edi Rama emerges as the greatest fighter against corruption, but he has half of his cabinet in prison. Therefore, once again, I want to say it very clearly and firmly: The support that the citizens will give us is absolutely in the hands of the citizens. Our task is to tell the citizens this: Here you have the program, here you have the team, on the open list, you voted for the fourth, you voted to support SPAK, to fill 313 with all the friends and other responsible for Edi Rama's corruption and him himself, and the money will be either in your pockets, your pensions, or in the pockets of 313. But, everyone has one vote. Don't expect change to come to you from the sky. Either choose yourself, your family, Albania, or choose Edi Rama, both are not possible. Did you choose Edi Rama? Keep it for four years, but you won't have the courage to look your children in the eye on May 12, because you won't have the opportunity to explain to them how after 12 years of abuse, deception, theft, disappointment, humiliation.
