The new mayor of Berat, Ervin Ceca, officially takes office and is sworn in.

The swearing-in ceremony of the new mayor of Berat, Ervin Ceca, took place this afternoon in the Berat Municipal Council hall. The ceremony was attended by the Minister of State for Local Government, Ervin Demo, representatives of various religious faiths, MPs, members of the municipal council, representatives from civil society, etc.

At the start of the ceremony, the Minister of State for Local Government, Ervin Demo, described today as an important day for the city because today the new mayor is officially inaugurated.

"I am convinced that the new mayor of Berat will focus on preserving the values ​​of the city and preserving religious coexistence. The dynamics that the city has will receive a positive response from the new mayor of Berat, because he has love for this city and is a kind person. We are facing an intense period in terms of reforms in local government and I am convinced that the municipality of Berat will make its contribution to these reforms and especially to that of territorial reform ," said the Minister of State for Local Government, Ervin Demo.

After taking the oath on the Constitution of the Republic of Albania, the Minister of State for Local Government, Ervin Demo, placed the mayoral ribbon on the Mayor of Berat, Ervin Ceca. The new Mayor, Ervin Ceca, declared after officially assuming office that he will serve the city of Berat in the best possible way.

" This municipality has been a success story and this mandate will be the continuation of the work started to serve Berat. I believe that only through inter-institutional cooperation and by listening to the voice of citizens, we will achieve sustainable results ," said the new mayor of Berat, Ervin Ceca.
