The passing of Servet Pëllumbi, Prime Minister Rama reacts: Farewell, beloved professor

Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted to the passing of the former Speaker of the Parliament and one of the fundamental figures of the Albanian left, Servet Pëllumbi.

Through a short message on social media, Rama bid him farewell with the words: "Farewell, dear professor," expressing respect for his contribution to the academic and political life of the country.

Servet Pëllumbi passed away at the age of 89. He remains one of the most important figures of the transition period in Albania, as well as one of the founders of the Socialist Party and former speaker of the Albanian Parliament.
