DP and SP lose significant votes! Today is the 7th day of recount for the Tirana

Today is the seventh day of the recount of votes for parties and candidates in the Tirana district. So far, 771 ballot boxes out of a total of 1,282 have been recounted.

The recount process has shown so far that there have been minor errors, but that they have not affected the result. The DP is the one that has lost the most votes, 399 so far, which are deducted from the result of the initial count. The SP is also deducted 302 votes that it received without merit. The Albania Initiative is found to have received 37 votes without merit, the Opportunity party also 30, while the Together Movement also has 30 votes without merit.

29 votes will be added to Lulzim Basha's Euro-Atlantic coalition, which it turns out they took from the first count.

Candidates have also received votes without merit. Ilir Alimehmeti of the DP has 85 undeserved votes, which were deducted from the initial result. Ilir Meta turns out to have received 59 votes without merit, Myslim Murrizi has had 51 votes unfairly added. Votes without merit have also gone to Jorida Tabaku, who so far has 69 such votes.

There is also vote movement in the SP. The highest number of votes that have been added without merit is Ervin Hoxha with 263. Fatmir Xhafaj has 129, Xhemal Qefalia has 123, Erion Braçe has 129. The latter reacted sharply the day before, accusing KAS of invalidating his votes, even though according to him, they are clean and clearly express the will of the voters to vote for the SP and his name.

Just a day earlier, KAS member Koli Bele spoke to the media, where he was asked whether these figures that have turned out to be irregular constitute simply a human error or are we dealing with an 'electoral crime'. He said that they are simply carrying out the administrative process, and that KAS is not an investigative body. He also announced that the final result for Tirana is expected to be announced by Monday, and then the recount of the ballot boxes in Fier and partially those in Durrës will continue.
