Veliaj's friends, Deborah Keçi and Eglantina Zere, also in prison / SPAK gives its claim for 5D

The Special Prosecution Office has filed a claim for file 5D, which has been divided into a second faction, which turns out to include two former directors of the Tirana Municipality, Deborah Keçi and Eglantina Zere.

SPAK is seeking Keçi's conviction and sentence to 1 year in prison, reduced to 8 months in prison. The prison sentence is suspended and she is placed on 2 years of probation, as well as being disqualified from office for 5 years.

For Teuta Guri, Renaldo Gjerazi and Gentjan Meraj, prosecutor Klodian Braho requested a sentence of 9 months in prison, applying a shortened trial of 6 months.

A two-year suspension was also requested for all three, so that during this time they would not commit another criminal offense, and an additional sentence was given that they would not exercise public functions for 5 years.

The legal defenders requested time to prepare their defense, for which reason the next hearing was scheduled for May 8 at 12:00.
