The candidate for DP MP, Besart Xhaferri, has commented on Prime Minister Edi Rama's statements regarding the FRPD.

In an interview with Sonila Meço, Xhaferri stated that Rama is desperate that there is no youth in the SP and wants to smear the FRPD.

" Look, I certainly don't deny any collaborators I have on the journey, but I definitely expected ethics with their departure. That girl has been disconnected since June 2023, we are not a party that keeps someone under obligation to anyone who contributes.

But the fact that he comes out on the side of the one we have fought against together shows that there may be transactions or bargains here. But what worries me is that they are definitely trying to smear a historical organization of 35 years, the FRPD. Which is the only one that still exists because if you look at the entire Albanian political scene, except for the LRI, they have all been drowned, they are without a leader, they are without structure and without leadership, that is, they are without a voice.

They also have a youth ministry without a portfolio. When it comes to attacking the Vlora youth forum, that is what worries me the most, because it is an extraordinary youth forum. It is a very healthy, very active and functional youth forum and is today at the forefront of the DP campaign in Vlora. We have also put our candidate Mario Runa on the open lists.

The fact that Edi Rama is trying to use it for the whole national thing definitely shows their desperation because they no longer have a youth organization. He is doing this 'look, we are destroying their youth organization', we are taking away all the young people. "said Xhaferri./
