"SP-PD similar promises", economic expert: Fiscal Peace is not written in any...

"New campaign, old techniques?" is the topic of this Thursday's Quo Vadis on Vizion Plus, moderated by Pranvera Borakaj.
Economic expert, Ergis Sefa commented on the promises between the two main forces of the SP, the DP-ASHM.
He said that 2/3 of their promises are very similar, while underlining that "Fiscal Peace" does not appear in any written program, in any party.
Borakaj: How are the political forces in relation to the programs?
Sefa: In one estimate, 2/3 of the promises are very similar between the two main forces. The minimum wage, average wage and pensions are identical in both parties. At the end of 2022, the World Bank conducted a study, and the living wage was $205, and the inflation minimum was not even factored in. If we take the programs, the Democratic Party has a number of about 40% of measurable promises, while the Socialist Party has a lower number. The PS has promises that are a continuation of those that are already in the process, expected from a force in government. They differ above all in the fiscal approach. It will be much different, both for citizens and for businesses in the case of the DP.
Borakaj: Is "fiscal peace" written into the program?
Borakaj: Why do you think "fiscal peace" came to the fore today?
Sefa: I don't think it came out today. It's a good idea.
Malaj: The Prime Minister mentioned it when he presented the program, but it is not in the written program.
Sefa: This means that he is in doubt. Even Berisha made a fiscal peace. The DP doesn't have it written down either. There is no calculation on how it can be implemented, nor how, nor why, nor how it will function.
