Called him "Bulldog", LaCivita responds to Edi Rama: Americans are a compliment!
The DP's campaign strategist, American Chris LaCivita, made a live connection to Çim Peka Live on SYRI TV, where he responded to the news that he has abandoned his job in Albania.
Regarding Rama's insults towards him, where he called him a 'bulldog', LaCivita humorously expressed that Americans consider this expression a compliment, as a bulldog does not give way easily.
'When an American calls a person 'Bulldog' it is not an insult but is taken as a compliment because a bulldog does not open the way easily and I will not open the way easily and I will fight until the end for what Edi Rama has not achieved for Albania and Albanians in 12 years,' said LaCivita.
Peka: Does it happen in America that January polls are published in May?
LaCivita: The weather in May is very different than the weather in January. There is a dramatic change in the dynamics of Albanian politics from January to now and a January poll is not valid to present in May due to the dynamics and drastic changes that Albanian politics has had during these times.
Peka: A pollster who allegedly conducted polls in favor of President Trump, two nights ago, gave the January poll in April and admitted that the questionnaire was not done by them but by Albanian operators.
The whole poll was about one question, a TV show very close to the prime minister, are you with Chris LaCivita and he said yes. It seems like the whole deal was for him to say he was friends with you, but he didn't take any responsibility for the poll. Do you have a comment?
LaCivita: The head of the polls was Tony Fabricio, he was part of the team, I know Jony, he is my friend and we worked together. Polls are sometimes done to influence public opinion through the things they publish. We acted differently together with Tony Fabricio and the team, we focused on the 12-year problems of the government and the problems caused to Albanians by the Rama government.
Peka: The media close to the government concluded 1 hour ago that you have abandoned the DP campaign?
LaCivita: The socialist media and those close to Edi Rama have that interest in lying because this is what they have done, they have lied. I am there all the time with my staff and I work on a daily basis. Edi Rama deals with me, he will cover the failures of Edi Rama during these 12 years of governance that has done nothing for the interests of Albanians.
Peka: Has any leader ever insulted you like the Prime Minister? Immediately after the opposition campaign opened, Edi Rama made a post where he was labeled a 'bulldog' and deleted it after 3 minutes. Have you ever been insulted to this extent?
LaCivita: This is politics, but when an American calls a person 'Bulldog' it is not an insult but is taken as a compliment because a bulldog does not open the way easily and I am not going to open the way easily and I have to fight until the end for what Edi Rama has not achieved for Albania and Albanians in 12 years.
