Prime Minister Edi Rama has made changes to the SP's structure for political leaders of the regions. In Tirana, Rama has appointed Taulant Balla as the regional leader, while in Durrës, Blendi Klosi. In Fier, Belinda Balluku will continue to be at the helm.

New ministers of the Rama government, such as Ermal Nufi in Lezha or Enea Karakaçi in Shkodra, have also taken on functions as regional leaders.
