Local elections/ "We will win in every municipality", Klosi: PS establishes structures in 5 countries for the diaspora

After the end of the Socialist Party Assembly, the Secretary General, Blendi Klosi, through a statement to the media announced the main decisions and discussions of the meeting.

He announced the approval of the SP's work plan until June 30, the preparation for local elections and the greater involvement of the youth group in the party's structures.

According to Klos, the Socialist Party scored a spectacular victory in the last elections, on May 11, winning over 80% of the voting centers across the country, and aims to ensure success in every municipality in the upcoming electoral race.

He also underlined the importance of the diaspora and the establishment of structures in countries where the SP has received the most votes, including Greece, Italy, Britain, the US and Germany.

"We approved the work plan from today until June 30, for the work of the SP for the local elections. New memberships, according to the SP meeting, there should be 4 new additions. The youth group will be more part of our staff. Our results were evident in every cell and in every territory of the Republic of Albania. The SP had a spectacular victory, we did not only win in our strongholds, but we won over 80% of all voting centers throughout the country. The regions demonstrate an increase in our work as a party.

In Tirana we need to have a stronger organized structure, since Tirana has the largest number of votes, it is a territory where every member of the SP will contribute. In the upcoming electoral race, the SP aims to win every municipality. 83 mandates are a spectacular victory. Not only for Tirana, but also for all of Albania, it is too early to talk about the names of the candidates. All mayors who want to run again, but also those who present themselves as new candidates, must have a connection with the people. The diaspora is a very important victory for us. As for the diaspora, we will establish our structures, where we have had the most votes, in Greece, Italy, Britain, the USA and Germany , "said Klosi.
