DP reacts to $6 million in lobbying in the US: They were collected by Albanian patriots

The Democratic Party has reacted to news spread in the media about the DP's latest lobbying of the US government and Congress through a contract worth 6 million euros.
According to the DP, this lobbying aims to cooperate with the US to restore democracy in Albania, while the funding is provided by Albanian patriots.
The Albanian-American community, through the “Make Albania Great Again” foundation, has contracted the “Continental” company to help consolidate the friendly relations of the Democratic Party, as the largest opposition force, with the US Congress and Government. The goal of our compatriots in the US is the cooperation of the DP with Albania’s main ally, to restore functional democracy and the rule of law in Albania.
The Continental company is led by Ambassador Carlos Trujillo, who is also known as President Trump's lawyer and a staunch anti-communist in his stances.
The financial contribution to achieve this goal has been undertaken 100% by Albanian patriots who have lived and worked in the USA for decades, as well as by other democrats who have left Albania during these 10 years due to Edi Rama's regime.
The Democratic Party, thanking the anti-communist Democrats of the Albanian-American community for their generosity and patriotism, clarifies to public opinion that, although it has agreed to receive this service in full compliance with the laws of both countries, there is no financial burden or contractual obligation arising from this agreement.
