The plenary session in the Assembly has started with tensions again, as the Democrats refused to leave the podium. After a few minutes of debate and the fact that the Democrats refused to withdraw and continue with the agenda, the Speaker of the Assembly Niko Peleshi interrupted the session and announced a one-hour recess.

It all started after the agenda was presented by the Speaker of the Parliament, Niko Peleshi, and then the floor was given to the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ferit Hoxha, to present the conclusions of the 8th Albania-European Union Intergovernmental Conference. The opposition blocked the podium, demanding a procedural discussion.

The Speaker of the Assembly, Niko Peleshi, said that the floor for procedure was given earlier, after the presentation of the agenda, but according to him, it was not respected by the speakers, who spoke about everything and only did not take the floor for procedural issues.

The Democratic Party thinks differently, and blocked the podium, demanding that the floor be given to the leader of the blue party, Sali Berisha.
