Today the hearing for Beleri, protesters gather in front of GJKKO
Today, some protesters have gathered in front of the Special Court against Organized Crime and Corruption (GJKKO), in support of the elected mayor of Himara, Fredi Beleri.
Beleri is accused of buying votes during the local elections for the municipality of Himara.
Today, the hearings are held in which the elected mayor wants to be sworn in to receive the mandate, a request that the high court transferred to the special court for competence. The protesters demand that Beleri take the oath as the mayor of Himara.
