Taulanda Jupi: On May 11, we support Altin Dumani's courage in the face of Rama and Berisha's corruption

The Euro-Atlantic Coalition candidate in Tirana in the May 11 elections, Taulanda Jupi, declared today that Albanian citizens face a historic choice: to support justice and the rule of law or to allow the impunity of old politicians to continue.

"On May 11, Albanians do not simply choose a party or an MP. They decide which Albania they want to build: the Albania of thieves seeking refuge in Parliament, or the Albania of honest citizens seeking true justice," Jupi said in her statement.

She emphasized that, facing each other, there are two Albanias: on one side, honest citizens and new justice institutions, led by prosecutors and judges like Altin Dumani, Olsi Dado, Erjon Bani and Engert Pëllumbi, and on the other, old corrupt politicians like Edi Rama and Sali Berisha, who seek to escape legal responsibility.

Jupi praised the work of SPAK and GJKKO as an example of a justice system that is being reborn and that does not fear in the face of power. According to her, the attacks on these institutions are evidence of the fear of those who have abused the country's assets and future for decades.

"On May 11, every vote is a battle between the past and the future. It is a battle between those who want to silence justice and those who want to open the doors of freedom. It is a battle between those who see Parliament as a defensive bunker and those who want to see Parliament as a servant of the people," Jupp declared.

Finally, she called on Albanians to support courage, justice and active citizenship, turning Parliament into an institution of hope and national dignity.
