Sali Berisha, from Korça, has called on citizens not to vote for the parties he invited to the coalition, but which refused to join.
Berisha said he invited them for the civic interest, so that the opposition people's vote would not be divided, but according to him, they did not find the strength to unite with the DP.
"If they had had 1/10 of Ilir Vrenozi's character, we would have been among us today. They didn't," he said.
Berisha : I appeal to you, dear citizens, not to vote for those whom we invited to be in coalition with us, so that every Albanian vote would come for the victory of the opposition and against Edi Rama, and they did not find the strength to come.
I invited them only in your name and for your interest, because I didn't want to invite them at all. I didn't want any vote of the opposition people to be divided. They didn't come, and now they say; no, we are not for rotation, we are against the system. They take off their masks. If you are not for rotation, you are for Edi Rama.
If you are against the system, you are still for Edi Rama. Then citizens, leave them alone.
