KLA veterans honor Azgan Haklaj: He made an extraordinary contribution to the liberation of Kosovo

Azgan Haklaj, activist and patriot, currently a candidate for MP from the Euro-Atlantic Coalition, was honored in Tetovo at an event dedicated to the heroes of the KLA.

The solemn event dedicated to the "silent heroes of the KLA" is the first of its kind and was held under the organization of the Association of War Veterans of the National Liberation Army.

This event was attended by well-known figures from the political and social scene, families of martyrs, and numerous citizens who came to honor the sacrifice and work of those who gave everything for the national cause.

"The appreciation for me is also an appreciation for my family, it is an appreciation for the Gjakova highlands, it is a re-evaluation for Tahir Sinan, the general of this war. It is a re-evaluation for our ancestors and the testament they left us," said Azgan Haklaj in his speech.

Among those present who spoke was Shkëlqim Hajdari, who added that, "Azgan Haklaj lived a life without interruption, in support of the struggle for the liberation from slavery of Albanians in Kosovo, Preševo, and North Macedonia."

DUI leader Ali Ahmeti expressed his gratitude and deep respect for all those who contributed to national freedom and dignity.

“Today in Tetovo, under the organization of the KLA General Staff, a solemn academy was held dedicated to the silent heroes of the National Liberation Army, to those who, without a voice, but with a big heart, gave everything for the national cause – even to the point of self-sacrifice,” said Ali Ahmeti. “This academy, the first of its kind, was dedicated to the outstanding activist and great patriot, Azgan Haklaj, one of the brightest figures who made an extraordinary contribution to our national liberation and dignity. Eternal glory to the silent heroes! Honor to Azgan Haklaj and all his collaborators!”
