The Shkodra Municipal Council meeting has ended without reaching any points of interest to the city and its development for the coming months. It was the Social Democratic Party that initially requested that the draft decisions be made for campaign purposes, and the group of councilors abandoned the meeting.
Immediately after this move by Tom Doshi's councilors, the group of DP councilors requested a 5-minute break to return to the hall to declare their boycott of the council.
The behavior of PSD and DP councilors has provoked a reaction from SP councilors, who have described the behavior of their fellow councilors as unacceptable.
One of the main points submitted for approval at the municipal council meeting was the management of public beaches by the Municipality of Shkodra on Velipoja beach, a point that jeopardizes the management of spaces for vacationers, where as the law provides, part of the spaces will be managed by the state at competitive prices compared to the private sector and offering choices for vacationers.
