"Crime is a product of organized crime"/ Musai: 12 years of corrupt governments, SPAK has proven it, politics amnesties them

In Albania, there are 16 high-risk criminal groups linked to cocaine trafficking and international crime markets.
The report published today by SPAK for 2024 speaks of a penetration of the judiciary, the prosecution, the police and the media with structures based on family and friendship in the regions of Tirana, Durrës, Shkodra, Kukës, Lezha, Elbasan and Vlora.
What SPAK does not talk about is the penetration into politics, although pressure from organized crime and politics is acknowledged among the lines.
While declaring that 33 former senior officials are under investigation, there are 328 criminal proceedings, that over 3,000 phones have been tapped, and 65 million euros in assets have been frozen, the Special Prosecution Office does not provide any figures for the investigation of electoral crimes, no files, and no concrete connections of these groups to politics.
The DP, which has previously raised this concern, has addressed the Special Prosecution Office regarding the establishment of a task force to investigate electoral crimes and is requesting information on how many investigations SPAK has launched into these crimes, at least since January of this year when the initiative was launched.
To talk about this topic, invited to the show "Ora e Betit", the spokesperson for the 'Euroatlantic Democrats', Doriana Musai.
"We are faced with the fact that we have 12 years in 3 governments that have systematically proven to be corrupt and have one common point that they have the same prime minister.
They have tried systematically and people have ended up behind bars, starting with the mayor.
A government that emerged from the votes of crime and this is confirmed by SPAK.
SPAK has told us everything.
We have some of the candidates, and the Çyrbja case, since it has become a classic of Durrës, is proven to have resulted from the votes of organized crime in coordination with the structures of the political party, in this case the Socialist Party.
What happened is that SPAK said it, did it, and it happened that two political forces amnestied those that SPAK had condemned.
This is the alarm bell that was raised last year, and this is probably where the support of all the people comes in, because it was seen that 80% of the population supports justice.
"We must admit that we have had a profound lack of justice for these 35 years. That is why crime has been rampant everywhere, that is why corruption has been rampant, that is why we have irresponsibility in institutions and we have these consequences that we have and have denounced in these studios and many others ," said Musai.
