May 11 elections/ 19 complaints! SPAK launches 60 investigators in 12 regions, cooperation with SHISH and monitoring of money transfers

The election campaign has begun, and with it, SPAK's investigations into electoral crimes that are under the jurisdiction of special prosecutors.

SPAK has officially confirmed to Top Channel that 19 denunciation materials have been registered on the online platform "denunciate electoral crime" alone. Unofficially, it is explained that it is not only political representatives who denounce, but also citizens. This figure does not include the investigations that have mainly set in motion the group of prosecutors.

"The case has been distributed to the group of prosecutors according to the cities they are covering ," reports Top Channel journalist Anila Hoxha.

In the SPAK strategy made public, which includes sending 20 prosecutors, 60 BKH investigators and 20 financial investigators to 12 districts, it is mentioned that not only reports and allegations will be verified, but also the possibility of using the administration and public infrastructure during the May 11 election campaign. In this monitoring, SPAK says that it considers as partners, in addition to the state police, the State Information Service and the Financial Intelligence Agency. The latter not only because of informality and the circulation of cash, but also for suspicious transactions and the tracking of funds coming from abroad. Another focus is the impact of organized crime not only through vote buying, pressure on voters but also illegal financing of candidates
