The famous actress shocks with her confession: I wanted to kill people!

American actress Lisa Rinna has publicly revealed that after giving birth to her two children she suffered from severe depression, an experience that included hallucinations and extreme emotional distress that she failed to recognize for a long time.

While speaking on the podcast "Let's not talk about the husband", the 61-year-old actress said:

"I had terrible postpartum depression, but I didn't know it. I didn't know what it was like to have your first child, I don't know. I just don't know," she said. Rina explained that the symptoms lasted for 15 months after the birth of her daughter, Delilah, in 1998.

But when she gave birth to her second daughter, Amelia, in 2001, the condition worsened and prompted the immediate intervention of her husband, Harry Hamlin. He himself recalls this on the actress's podcast: "You told me I was going to kill you and I said call the gynecologist right away. You told me: Watch out. I feel like I want to kill you. I keep knives in the drawer."

The 61-year-old actress, although she did not remember threatening him, confirmed that she had hallucinations and dark thoughts: "I had terrible hallucinations, that I was killing people and I had to get the knives out of the house. I also had images of driving a car into a wall. I never thought of harming the child. They were all deep manifestations," she said.

At her husband's urging, she contacted her doctor and began treatment with antidepressants: "They worked immediately, they changed everything." Her first experience with postpartum depression, she said, did not involve hallucinations: "I was just hopeless. A big, dark cloud over me. It had nothing to do with the baby, it was about me."
