Heather Graham's unexpected statement: 80% of the time I feel happy not having children

Heather Graham is living a quiet and free life, far from the stereotype that society often imposes on women over 50: motherhood. In an interview with The Guardian, the 55-year-old actress admitted with great honesty that, although she feels fulfilled without children, she has never avoided the deep and human question: "What if I had had them?"
"About 80% of the time I feel happy not having children. I feel free and at peace with my life. But there's also that 20% where I wonder what it would be like..." Graham said. She added that she feels a great appreciation for her journey and sees women's desire to not follow the traditional family path becoming more common.
"Society says: 'You have to have children'. But why? Is this what you really want?", the actress said, taking a clear stance against culturally imposed expectations.
Graham, who currently stars in the film "The Chosen Family," emphasizes that her on-screen character is far from her personal reality. Unlike Ann, a woman who feels the void of the absence of a traditional family, Heather is embracing the freedom, the sleep, and the lack of pressure to "please others" every day.
"Everyone is on a different journey. And I like mine," she concluded.
