Diddy is leasing his $60 million jet to cover court costs

While facing serious legal challenges, Sean "Diddy" Combs has taken a surprising step to generate much-needed funds: offering his private luxury jet for rent. The hip-hop mogul, who is in custody in New York awaiting trial on sex-trafficking charges, is reportedly looking to cash in on the $60 million Gulfstream 550 by listing it on exclusive aviation platforms that they serve the Hollywood elite.

The sleek, all-black Gulfstream, registered to Combs' company, Loveair LLC, is based at Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles and can seat up to 14 passengers. This luxury jet, built in 2015, is advertised on popular private jet platforms such as Victor and Jettly, which cater to affluent travelers seeking high-end flying experiences.

Potential renters, however, may not be aware they're boarding Diddy's plane, as the listings don't reveal the identity of the owner. Known as the "Uber of private jets," Victor allows customers from business tycoons to celebrities to book flights, promising maximum comfort and exclusivity.

Clive Jackson, CEO of Victor, points out that their clientele has high expectations, and Diddy's Gulfstream, with its plush beige leather interior and private suites, fits in among the high-priced options.

Silver Air, the company that operates Diddy's plane on behalf of his LLC, boasts a "comprehensive fleet of luxury aircraft" available for international destinations. Price varies based on distance; for example, a round trip between Los Angeles and New York on Gulfstream costs about $116,681, while a transatlantic flight to London's Biggin Hill costs about $432,000.

Recently, he also listed his Beverly Hills mansion for $61.5 million, a clear indication of his urgency to cover mounting legal expenses. His lawyers have filed a new bail motion, citing similar cases where defendants were released despite facing serious charges.
