Home marijuana farm? Jennifer Lopez's ex-boyfriend faces legal troubles

Jennifer Lopez's ex-boyfriend, Casper Smart, is facing legal trouble after being accused of illegally operating a marijuana farm at his Los Angeles home. According to TMZ, the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office has charged the dancer and choreographer with two misdemeanor counts, one of engaging in an unlicensed commercial activity related to cannabis and one of operating a commercial activity without a temporary license.

The charges were filed after a police operation in December 2024, when a search warrant was issued at Smart's Los Angeles home. According to police, evidence of small- to medium-scale cannabis cultivation was found.

At the time of the search, he and a female visitor were at the home. However, according to TMZ, he was the only one questioned and fined, while the woman was not found to have any involvement in the case.

Casper Smart became best known for his relationship with Jennifer Lopez, with whom he was together, on and off, for five years, starting in 2011, shortly after the singer's divorce from Marc Anthony. The former couple finally separated in 2016.
