Fainted on stage, legendary guitarist rushed to hospital

Legendary guitarist Carlos Santana has been forced to postpone a scheduled concert at the Majestic Theater in San Antonio after being hospitalized due to a sudden health condition.
The incident occurred during sound rehearsals, when the musician fainted on stage.
Emergency services arrived at the scene around 5pm, and Santana was taken to a local hospital as a precaution. According to his manager, Michael Vrionis, the 77-year-old artist is being monitored and the most likely cause of the incident is dehydration.
“It is with deep disappointment that I must announce that today’s concert has been postponed,” Vrionis said in a statement to the media. “Mr. Santana suffered an episode that was diagnosed as dehydration. He is receiving appropriate treatment and is feeling better.”
The concert was part of the "Oneness" North American tour, which will resume on April 23 in Sugar Land, Texas.
This isn't the first time Santana has faced health challenges. Earlier this year, he postponed a Las Vegas residency after a finger injury, and in 2022 he canceled several shows for medical reasons.
Despite the setbacks, the legendary artist remains determined to continue touring and return to the stage once he is fully healthy.
