Kanye West: Taylor Swift was the reason I didn't perform at the Super Bowl

Kanye West, now known as Ye, has accused singer Taylor Swift of blocking him from performing at the Super Bowl. In a since-deleted post on the X platform (formerly Twitter), Ye wrote: “I was never allowed to perform at the Super Bowl because of three things: George Bush doesn’t care about black people. The Taylor Swift moment. Wearing the MAGA hat.”
The feud between Ye and Taylor Swift began in 2009, when Ye interrupted Swift's acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards, declaring that Beyoncé had the best video. Their relationship soured further in 2016, when Ye mentioned Swift's name in the song "Famous," saying that he made her famous. Swift claimed that this action was done without her consent.
In February of this year, during the Grammy Awards ceremony, Taylor was seen dancing during Kendrick Lamar's performance, which angered Ye again. He criticized the action, linking it to his being banned from performing at the Super Bowl.
