Khloe Kardashian has opened up about her past relationships, revealing that in some cases, her family members knew details about her exes' infidelity before she did. As she revealed on an episode of the podcast "Call Her Daddy," her sister, Kim Kardashian, and her mother, Kris Jenner, had previously revealed that her exes, Lamar Odom and Tristan Thompson, were cheating on her.
"Kim knew about the cheating, I think both times, I think Kim found out first. And my mother, with my ex-husband, knew things before I did and had to tell me," she said.
Kim Kardashian was on camera when she found out that Thompson had cheated on her sister while she was pregnant with their first child: When Kim found out Tristan was cheating on me, she was getting ready to do an interview for Keeping Up and it happened while she was sitting in a chair on set. I don't know if we would have seen what we saw if everything hadn't been revealed at the time. We're just filming the whole time, every dirty moment.
Despite the pain these revelations caused her, Khloe Kardashian emphasized that she prefers to hear the truth from her own people: I'd rather learn from someone in the family than from a stranger. She also referred to her relationship with Thompson, which was marked by three different cheating scandals: the first, the pregnancy scandal, the second involving Jordyn Woods, then Kylie Jenner's best friend, and the third, with which Thompson also had a child with gymnast Marali Nichols. The TV personality admitted that she hid the pregnancy of their second child because of the shame she felt.
"I was so embarrassed. Because I already knew what everyone would say, I knew what they would say about me. And deep down I already knew that it would probably happen again. It sounds crazy, why would you be with someone like that? But now, in retrospect, I understand. That was that feeling. You never feel safe with him. My body knew that, a woman's instinct. It wasn't right for me. But I couldn't understand it then," she added.
Now following her split from Tristan Thompson in 2021 and divorce from Lamar Odom in 2016, Kardashian revealed what advice she would give someone wondering if they should stay in a relationship where there has been infidelity: In my experience, I don't think people really change on this issue.
